Kia Optima Gets Thumbs-Up from Boston Globe

People trust the Boston Globe. It is, after all, a leading news source and information hub. Keeping this in mind, Team Kia of El Cajon at was ultra-thrilled to see that the Globe offered a thumbs up for the Kia Optima and placed it on their annual "Top Ten Drives List" for 2012.

Why, oh why, would the newspaper do this? We can think of a reason...actually, we can think of several. First off, the 2012 Kia Optima offers unprecedented performance at a remarkable price. As if that weren't enough in itself, the sedan is coated in attractive styling and equipped with best-in-class features such as Sirius radio, Auxiliary/USB input, Active Eco System, steering-wheel-mounted controls, and keyless entry. In the realm of safety, the Optima prepares for the unexpected with Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children, front and rear 3-point seatbelts, full-length side curtain airbags and an impact-absorbing steering column.

In a press release announcing the Boston Globe award given to the Optima, Kia wrote, "Optima's world-class design and technology features impressed editors who dubbed the Optima a 'first-class, five-passenger, mid-sized sedan' with a 'surprisingly spacious interior'."1

What's more, the Kia Optima comes backed by a brand that has seen unbelievable growth over the past year and boasts positive projections for 2012.
