With the ever-rising price of gas, new car buyers in Southern California are prioritizing fuel economy as much as the price and features of a vehicle. That’s why many drivers are turning to the Kia range of stylish and efficient SUVs and sedans. At Team Kia of El Cajon, we offer an extensive inventory of Kia vehicles to suit the needs of most drivers.

Kia Soul

2023 Soul

For 2023, the quirky Kia Soul subcompact SUV has refreshed exterior styling that emphasizes its eccentric funky character. With its small dimensions, it’s the perfect car for zipping around El Cajon and San Diego city streets. The surprisingly roomy cabin seats five and gives you versatile cargo space.

Under the Soul’s hood is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels via an intelligent variable transmission. Most Soul models return up to 28 mpg around town and 33 mpg for highway driving, but the EX trim gives you up to 29 mpg and 35 mpg respectively.

Kia Seltos

The 2023 Kia Seltos is a larger subcompact SUV that oozes style with its sleek, streamlined design. It’s fun to drive whether you’re navigating the city streets or tackling the back road curves. Folding down the rear seats gives you an impressive 62.8 cubic-foot cargo area.

A 2.0-liter engine powers the LX, S, and EX models, while the Nightfall Edition and range-topping SX get a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine that develops 175 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. The front-wheel-drive S model gives you 29 mpg and 35 mpg for city and highway driving. With all-wheel drive, the figures are 27 and 31 mpg. The responsive turbo returns up to 25 and 30 mpg respectively.
